This checker analyses supplied evidence locally. It does not connect to ChatGPT or query a private visibility database. The result describes the answer you provide, with its test conditions attached.
Discovery and accuracy are different tests
An unbranded question tests whether a buyer encounters you naturally. A question that already names your business is a branded accuracy check. The tool keeps those samples separate.
Citation evidence stays explicit
Only citation URLs you enter and that match your supplied brand domain are counted as brand-domain citations. A phrase match is a mention clue; aliases and context still need a human decision.

What does this free AI visibility checker measure?
It counts brand phrase matches in a pasted AI answer and identifies supplied citation URLs on your brand domain. You can correct the recorded mention decision and export the observation with its prompt, engine, mode, market and date.
Does it run a live ChatGPT or Gemini search?
No. You run the question in your chosen platform and paste the evidence. This gives you control over the actual interface and test conditions without submitting your brand data through a hidden AI API.
What is the difference between a mention and a citation?
A mention is a recorded reference to the brand in the answer. A citation is a linked source. This tool keeps them separate: naming a company does not establish that its website was cited.
Can one result show my overall AI ranking?
One answer is one sample. Build a consistent set of buyer questions and repeat it under recorded conditions. The checker deliberately avoids turning a single answer into a universal ranking or market-wide visibility percentage.
Can I check competitors too?
Yes. Add up to eight competitor names to compare exact token-sequence occurrences in the same answer. The comparison does not infer sentiment, recommendation strength, market share or whether every relevant alternative was considered.
How do I save and use the result?
